weekend fun

again, with one week's delay, because that's how i roll these days. pics from last weekend in the countryside, with part of the writing people's gang.
time to confess that i have little idea about whatever places/beauties lie just beyond the cluj city limits. meh, i know the part going to turda a bit, on account of having commuted there for 2 years in another lifetime. and the exit to my grandma's village, but only what i've seen from the bus. otherwise, it could be cluj or it could be bratislava to me. so yeah, it never hurts to learn new things.
this is a bit of climbing to some ruins at liteni, and then picnicking in cacova, a very beautiful and very long village.

one of the 2 butterflies we chased around the flowers. people better than me didn't give up until they got them both in one pic. perseverence pays off. (having persevering friends sometimes pays off too - just saying)

i am always so annoyed that photos can't really do justice to a field of wild flowers!

funny enough, i got sunburnt that day. probably the first day since...beginning of may when i was out in the sun the whole day long. (more complaints about the weird weather? i don't want to push it, it's ok for now.)
