happy everything!

these are the good things that came to pass this year so far - and it's not even Chinese New Year yet!
- a little new Anastasia was born to my friend a. i still haven't seen her, but soon! all these children! so tiny and magical!
- my friend alexandra moved into her new, central (lucky girl) place - i still haven't seen the place (do we detect a pattern?) but hey, i've got a fridge magnet waiting for the day! this is the extent of my house-warming gift abilities....:( so far.
- my aunt from the village, who co-raised me, finally had surgery (hip replacement? i'm shamefully unsure whether that's the equivalent. hip-related something) that she'd been waiting on for some years. it went well and she's recovering back in the village - couldn't wait to leave all this city noise nonsense behind!
- yesterday we celebrated the completion of our friend dana's divorce, see attached picture. an amiable divorce, but seriously one of the longest delayed acts in the history of mankind. i still cannot believe it's done, and i'm just the innocent bystander. anyway:
things, please just keep going like this, i approve of the direction you seem to be heading in.
