i'm just writing to link to this tumblr, on which i'm sure everyone can find something meaningful for themselves. it really made my day.

on the same inspirational note, look! pictures from a special event that happened on one of the small bridges here, on the sunny shiny tuesday, nov. 6: people hung up this whole bunch of clay bells, and then some musician folks came with violins and played bach fugues for us while running back and forth under those bells. it was a sight to behold! (sorry for lack of pictures of violins+wigs+hair ribbons = lack of foresight re: battery recharge.)

and as a personal celebratory contribution, here's pics of me on the post-election night, after having:
- not slept the night before (exactly as planned, you guys! who sleeps in europe when there's elections in the u.s?? c'mon!)
-managed to take an one-hour nap that started in the middle of obama's victory speech (i mean, what did i miss - what was he going to say? hope and unity and gratitude and no second dog. really no big surprise here.)
- been again part of the (THE) trivia team that somehow keeps winning bottles of wine left and right at casa tiff on trivia night. my third time, that is, because sonia is perseverent...and the second victory: because there were other people helping the last 2 times. that's right, i didn't build that! sure is nice to be winning though.
