cold cold spring

this was during the exams, obviously. as soon as i finished my projects and stuff, it got to 0 degrees and annoying rain.
there are daffodils too, and smaller stuff in the small grass. AND the icecream shop is open, but who wants to buy icecream at this point

this is what my house has been looking like for the past 2 weeks. just as a parenthesis. now the kitchen's done and i can't use the bathroom, so i've had to go next door to toilet and shower. i mean ok, there is never an appropriate time for having work done in your place while you live in there....but honestly while trying to recover sleep is the worst time ever 

shopping doesn't work very well these days either, cause my winter body is in the process of destroying all the pants i own. i bought a summer dress though! probably two months til i can wear it.

i've also been raiding all the mini-libraries in my neighbourhood for trashy romance novels. so i get one of those, go to a cafe and get a latte, and then i waaaaait til 5 pm so i can go back home and sleep. what a wonderful in-between-exams life. or something. 

so i do get it: when the sun comes out, my exams will be done, my house will be shiny and new, and all the good things will happen at the same time. which is not now. 

anyway, til then here's some wet brick in my neighbourhood, i.e. on castelnau. waiting for drier more promising days.
