spring forward into the sun

yes! daylight saving time, and dark past 7 pm. i keep telling people i felt this winter wasn't as hard as last one, but i know it's subjective. i've been busy, etc etc.
talking about that, i.e. the elephant in the room:
i got a C yesterday. i think it's hilarious how worked-up i got about it and how i ranted and complained about it to everyone who was in proximity and couldn't run away fast enough. man, back in my BA days i even got a 50% on an exam and i don't think i cared as much...but , eh, different grading systems and such. i do find that concordia has a pretty tight and obnoxious grading scale, but alright, !basta ya! carmen, as my classmate said at some point.

i am sleep-deprived. no joke. overall i think i'm still sleeping enough, but there's a clear unbalance where i sleepwalk like a zombie through friday and much of saturday, and then sunday through thursday i sleep 3 to 7 am reliably, and toward the endtail of it i nap at the most inappropriate moments. so yeah right now i'm too tired and too buzzed to sleep, and drinking beer, and feeling i've got this under control. (hey, everyone i owe e-mails and letters to!)

but i'm happy, and what humbles me is that there's no spiritual, enlightened secret to it. i'm just used to living on little, and then the sun comes out.

i finish a project and can read GOT blogs - happy.
(here's a mandatory link to my latest English 396 venture, for which i pestered some good ppl for a long time, with not much to show for it:

i spend 15 mins outside without a hat on - happy.
i bond with ppl over stress and lack of sleep and stressful prospects - happy.
i discover lots of cool things online, then i forget about them then i remember them again and it makes me happy again. i remember i have things, i did things and i remember things, and it's the wonderful time when you can feel in your bones for a while that yes it's going to get better.
