very random things that may or may not go together

a.k.a. the story of my life, seasonal transition, or simply too much time to spare.
trying to caption for a change

this house is somewhere downtown-ish, behind the big marketplace. trying to paint it* and write about it has been pretty futile so far, so i've only got this photo to show for it. i like how it's...being deconstructed. this aesthetic sadness is what i want to be rolling in forever - sometimes, not always. the fall is a good time for it . i'm wondering about those plants inside the house going yellow-brown.
*ha ha, not paint the house - do a painting-y thing that has the house in it. goodness!

this is next to my building, one block over in the neighbourhood. i like how people just put together a common place to hang out and relax. haven't been able to get better pictures, for various reasons, but you see the things in that tree? they have portraits and stuff hung up there! i wonder if they change it up periodically.

giulia dressed up as a field in summer, with earrings and chair to match. (hey, here's some halloween ideas for you! we've been rereading the books of our childhood, and a lot of mine have the seasons/months of the year pictured as girls wearing various specific accessories. if we push this further we might get somewhere.....which again reminds me i did try to create a semi-costume of "autumn" in 2010 in montreal - but was not extreme enough because i had to walk to work in it also. )

one of the last times that my windows stay open all day+night long, and uninvited pigeons  can wander inside my kitchen.

and it's time to start wearing actual shoes. i obviously keep my shoes on top of the table, which might explain why i never have anyone over. or is it the other way round?

visiting lari at her office to take her out to lunch. see what serious mature professionals we are! ok, i might need to take a close up of that board on her wall for a clearer picture.

just admiring the roof landscape of cluj (right off-emil isac)

and missing montreal, by the hungarian opera

we planted our camembert, thyme and fig gardens very carefully ( with giulia and sonia @cooking time! also: the first time giulia cooked a meal in her oven!)

was hoping to catch a better view of my multicolored nails! here i'm fake-drinking water from my favourite jar, and showing off my literary leanings of late, i.e. revisiting slavenka drakulic. more photo-taking than reading/writing, unfortunately.

aaand revisiting my old university building on a cold rainy saturday night, with deedee "am venit sa ne vedem notele de la domnu' milas" alexa. good and somewhat relevant times were had by all. nice catching up!
